What're your favorite lines from Miller's Crossing? Aside from the obvious favorites like "Jesus, Tom" and "Look in your heart"

"Nothing more foolish than a man chasin' his hat. "

"All in all not a bad guy - if looks, brains and personality don't count. "

"If I'd known we were gonna cast our feelings into words, I'd've memorized the Song of Solomon."

"I was just speculatin' about a hypothesis. I know I don't know nothin'. "

I could list the entire script, but that would defeat the purpose, wouldn't it!

C'mon people, what are your favorites???

I always liked the opening moaning monologue by Caspar about "etics" but that's too obvious a choice.

"You're a fickle boy, Mink. If The Dane found out you had another "amigo"- well, I don't peg him for the understanding type."- Tom

"So you figure it was Caspar bumped Rug?"- Tom

"I was just in the neighbourhood, feeling a little daffy. What are you doing?" - Verna

"Now take your flunky and dangle!" - Leo

"'Lo Frankie, how's the flunky business?" - Leo

"Okay, Verna. But until then, let's get stinko." - Tom

"You been to college, kid? We only take yeggs what's been to college." - Caspar

So, so, so many! Man, I REALLY wanna watch this now!

"You take a page outta this guy's book. A little less you talk and a little more you think!" - Casper

"I don't ask much and I don't ask often" - Tom

"It ain't elves" - The Dane

"Beats me" - Thug responding to The Dane ouside the gym

"If Caspar ain't stiff in a couple of days... I start eating in restaurants" - Bernie

"A guy can't have too many friends" - Bernie

"I wouldn't want it any other way" - Bernie

"A wart. On his fanny" - Tom

"Nobody knows anybody. Not that well." - Tom

My favorite is at the very end when John Turturro (Bernie) and Gabriel Byrne (Tom) are once again face to face...

Bernie: "Look into your heart."

Tom: "What heart?'

Tom FIRES gun into Bernie....

I have to agree with "Would that be physically or a mental state?"

Also, the Dane's line, when Leo's guy says "He sent us hear to protect Verna."
DANE: "Well, you did a bang-up job. I'll be sure to tell him."

Overall, I just fucking love the Dane.

True that- the Dane is great.

"It ain't elves." is also a fave.

I love the fact that although he's nails he's also gay.
