I feel I received the messages that this movie tried to deliver. It's about the coincidence and absurdity of life. Here is my query about the ending scene. Why there is a gull falling from the sky into the sea?

I think it's just because the Coens though it was funny. I don't think it actually means anything.

Unless someone else has heard anything different?

I heard that it happened purely by coincidence...but of course people will come up with all kinds of thoeries about the symbolism of what was a simple accident caught on camera.
